The award winning movie has earned its rights at the table of the American Foreign Press, with the exceptional performance of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker.

The movie was garnered four Golden Globes nominations, two Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations and a whooping seventeen Oscar nominations.
The movie did well to succeeded the previous adaptation where the lead role was played by the late Heath Ledger. The movie addressed mental health issues in the society and Joaquin’s role was well played.
Last week, Joaquin Phoenix won Best Actor in a Drama Motion Picture at the Golden Globes, and last night snagged the award for male actor in a leading role at the SAGS award.. The movie also bagged Best Original Score at the Golden Globes
With 17 Oscar nominations in the bag, Joker is set to be the star of the award night come 10th February, 2020.

I was initially very sceptical when the movie was announced since the Joker is one of my favourite DC characters. But the awards are well deserved!
